Tin Town
A collection of ideal cities, all contained within the discarded packaging of household items past.
This project was sparked by considering feelings of location, belonging and rootedness, and the way in which we easily idealise the places from which we've since moved on. These pieces function almost as talismen, each opening to reveal its contents like pocket-sized treasure carrying the fantasy city 'home' with the bearer.
